Hi, I’m Hưng

Hey, I’m Hưng, born in 2002.

Currently, I work as an AI Engineer at TMA Solutions. It sounds fancy, but my day-to-day is mostly answering one question: how do we turn natural Vietnamese business questions into database queries, charts, and insights—automatically? I built a multi-agent system where AIs “argue,” self-correct, and validate answers before they reach users.

Before TMA, I spent some very fun months at Tadalabs: improving Vietnamese voice bots, designing camera AI for PPE compliance, and putting multi-agent Text2SQL systems into production. At Bluebolt Software, I worked on real-time social listening pipelines and healthcare chatbots.

Outside of work, I love playing with open-source models. My pet project is vi-Whisper—a Whisper model fine-tuned for Vietnamese. It’s been downloaded more than 15k times on Hugging Face and is running in production voice-bot systems. I also fine-tuned LLaMA 3.2 and Mistral for Vietnamese use cases, like a Health Chatbot and an MIS Educational Chatbot, both with better metrics than the base models.

I studied Computer Science at Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City (IUH). University was more than just GPA: I got Second prize at Euréka, Top 4 in Vietnam Datathon, Top 7 in Kalapa Challenge, and published a few papers. I also mentored at AIClub IUH, helping juniors take their first steps in AI/ML.

If you ask me what I use to build all these things, it’s a bit of a beautiful mess: Python, PyTorch, Transformers, LangChain, YOLO, FastAPI, Docker, and sometimes React or TypeScript when I need a UI.
